Founded in 1940 in Buenos Aires by Elias Abraham Kier Joffe, we're an older family firm with a modern, progressive personality. Instead of growing larger and larger with bloated staff, expensive overhead, and a catch-all marketing plan, we have remained lean and focused, and gotten better and better at what we do for over 70 years.

I've always loved our traditions and admired my father's and my grandfather's integrity, and the work ethic of the other trusted members of our team. And I learned a lot about what was important by listening to our clients when they talked about what they appreciated, what they wished could be different, and about their frustrations with other attorneys in Argentina.
Three years ago, when I took the helm of the firm from my father and my grandfather before him, I wanted to keep all the best of our heritage and make it even stronger, more focused, modern and client-friendly.
